Two Kingdoms lie at the brink of war. Westhaven which is lead by King Andre who wanted nothing more but to feed his own greed. And the opposing Kingdom of Aluria, lead by King Demetrius, who fought only to defend his Kingdom. Amongst the invading army was a loving father, nobleman, and Captain of the Guard who went by the name of Christof. Although he did not agree with his King's greed, Christof found the strength to support him with the devotion he had for his homeland.
Before heading to battle, Christof kissed his wife and daughter goodbye, assuring his beloved family that he would return in time for the Summer's End Festival. The Guard decimated Demetrius' numbers and in the final strain, they won the war. When the victors began to celebrate, the corpses of the fallen had risen to fight again. And with that final wave, Demetrius' abomination's obliterated the survivors.
Christof was a paragon. His corpse now laid alongside his enemies. The bodies of hundreds of men laid out amongst the wasteland, accompanied by pools of blood littered about the ground. His body now lay waiting for some unfortunate travelers to cross, and when they do, he'll rise again, ready to fight beside the corpses of men who were once his enemy.
